We plan on having a “photo walk” inside the confines of the Matthaei Botanical Gardens Conservatory on Saturday, Feb. 6, from 10-noon or so. The conservatory is a great place to shoot your Polaroids when weather outside is usually not so great. Lots of opportunities for close-ups of flowers, leaves, etc., and a great time to experiment with some film cameras with a bunch of other film enthusiasts. The meet-up replaces the monthly evening meeting for February.
The only rule is that tripods are not permitted indoors on Saturdays due to the number of people that might be there. The grounds are also a great place to shoot, even in winter, with Fleming Creek nearby.
Admission is free, but you must pay a small fee for parking at the metered lot.
Matthaei Botanical Gardens is located at 1800 N. Dixboro Road, Ann Arbor.
